INTERVENCIÓN RESTAURATIVA DE UNA PIEZA CERÁMICA DE ÉPOCA IBÉRICA PERTENECIENTE A LOS FONDOS DEL MUSEO ARQUEOLÓGICO DE REQUENA, VALENCIA

Abstract

[EN] The topic of this research project follows the restorative intervention of a ceramic dish from the Iberian village dated the fifth century BC. It was found at the archaeological site Las Pilillas in the area of Requena, where a variety of findings for the production and transport of wine were unearthed. The main objective of this Project is to return the piece to its original state, taking into account two criteria, esthetic and historic; avoiding any type of action that could endanger the values and the material integrity of the patrimony. In other words, following the criteria of respect, reversibility and recognition of the piece. Thus, a detailed study of the ceramic object will be made to allow for the proper intervention process. Parallel to that is the cleaning of the piece, will facilite subsequent studies and will be essential to the preventive conservation. Before the study, the historical context of the piece will be described, focusing on the ceramic production of the century.

[ES] El tema de este Trabajo Final de Grado consiste en la intervención restaurativa de un plato cerámico de época Ibérica del S.V a.C. procedente del yacimiento arqueológico de Las Pilillas en la comarca de Requena, donde se encontraron variedad de hallazgos destinados a la producción y el transporte de vino. El objetivo principal consta de devolver la legibilidad total de la pieza, teniendo en cuenta sus dos instancias, tanto estética como histórica; desterrando cualquier tipo de actuación que pudiese atentar contra los valores y la integridad material de la obra patrimonial. Es decir, siguiendo los criterios de respeto, reversibilidad y reconocimiento de la pieza. Por ello se realizará un estudio detallado del objeto cerámico para la elaboración de su posterior proceso de intervención. Se dará suma importancia tanto a la limpieza de la obra, la cual facilitará los posteriores estudios existentes, como a su conservación preventiva. Previamente al estudio, se expondrá el contexto histórico al que pertenece la pieza, centrándose en la producción de cerámica de la época.
