LA TORTUE ROUGE DE MICHAËL DUDOK DE WIT. ANÁLISIS FÍLMICO

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como objeto de estudio teórico la filmografía del animador holandés Michaël Dudok de Wit, haciendo especial énfasis en su primer largometraje animado, que coincide con la primera producción de Studio Ghibli fuera de Japón: La tortuga roja (Le tortue rouge, 2016). Para concretar más, este estudio se centrará en aspectos como la estructura del film, la puesta en escena, la evolución de los personajes, la banda sonora, etc. En este análisis también se hará referencia a la filmografía de la principal productora, Studio Ghibli, para tratar de establecer diferencias y similitudes entre el trabajo de animación de ambos y, sobre todo, dentro de la propia trayectoria del director.

This project¿s theoretical subject matter is the filmography of the dutch animator Michaël Dudok de Wit, emphazising his first animated feature film and Studio Ghibli¿s first production outside Japan: The Red Turtle (La tortue rouge) (2016). Specifically, this research will be focused on aspects as the structure of the film, the artistic staging, the character¿s evolution, the soundtrack, etc. Also, in this analysis reference will be made to Studio Ghibli¿s filmography to try to stablish differences and similarities between both of them, specially within the work of the film¿s director.
