| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | [EN] Today, minimally invasive surgeries have been increased by laparoscopic tools thanks to their reduction in postoperative recovery time. But the use of these tools can lead to problems in the doctors, as consequences of muscle fatigue suffered by the muscles during the intervention, being one of the factors that cause the ergonomics of the conventional tool. Previous studies have used the technique of Surface Electromyography (EMGs) with monopolar electrodes for the analysis of fatigue and thus be able to develop new tools that improve ergonomics and thus contribute to solve the problem, but with these electrodes are obtained signals with noise and ECG interference that make it more difficult to analyse the signal. The objective of this Master's Thesis is to carry out a comparative study between conventional monopolar electrodes and concentric ring electrodes (they estimate the Laplacian surface potential) to see which of them attenuates the noise and the ECG interference and with which analysis of muscle fatigue would be better developed. To do this, signs of the biceps, deltoid and trapezius muscles were recorded in 12 subjects during a static exercise and a series of parameters were obtained for the analysis of the signal. As expected, the result obtained from the signal-to-noise ratio was lower with the use of concentric ring electrodes due to the amplitude of the signal, which is smaller. Regarding the study of interference, it has focused on the trapezius to quantify the ECG interference, obtaining that in some positions the concentric ring electrodes worked better attenuating more the interferences, but there were no statistically significant differences in the results, which could be due to the study of a small number of subjects. To conclude, the sample entropy was obtained, resulting in a decrease of this with the concentric annular electrodes, focusing on the entry and exit positions, being the exit where greater fatigue is observed and the entropy value is lower. | es_ES |
