NICHO 1501. Amor, tragedia y obsesión

Abstract

La idea de este proyecto nace accidentalmente tras la búsqueda de información para la temática previa que quería tratar en mi trabajo de fin de grado y que giraba en torno a la mitología y leyendas del mundo, tema de interés para mí. Tras la indagación en internet, di con una página web, titulada ``Museo del Silencio¿¿ donde se narran las historias más interesantes y misteriosas que esconden las lápidas del cementerio general de Valencia. La historia del nicho 1501, captó en especial mi atención, por su contenido amoroso a la vez de trágico y misterioso. Un hecho verídico que narra la vida de dos jóvenes amantes, Vicente y Emilia, separados por la muerte, pero no por el olvido. Para Vicente, Emilia siempre estuvo presente en su memoria, su obsesión por ella hizo que nunca olvidara enviarle flores el día de Todos los Santos, desde cualquier lugar donde estuviese. Es mi intención representar esta crónica como trabajo de fin de grado, en la creación de un libro de artista mediante el uso de técnicas litográficas y programas de edición digital.

The idea of this project was born accidentally after the search for information for the previous topic that I wanted to deal with in my graduation work and that revolved around the mythology and legends of the world, a topic of interest to me. After the internet research, I came across a web page, entitled ``Museo del Silencio?', where the most interesting and mysterious stories that hide the gravestones of Valencia's general cemetery are told. The history of the 1501 niche, particularly captured my attention, for its loving content at once tragic and mysterious. A truthful fact that narrates the life of two young lovers, Vincent and Emilia, separated by death, but not by oblivion. For Vincent, Emilia was always present in his memory, his obsession for her made him never forget to send him flowers on All Saints' Day, from wherever he was. It is my intention to represent this chronicle as an end-of-grade work, in the creation of an artist's book using lithographic techniques and digital editing programs.
