Estrategias de reciclaje arquitectónico : la transformación de la vivienda colectiva en edificaciones preexistentes

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo plantea la investigación de los procesos de reciclaje en la arquitectura, basados en la transformación de la vivienda colectiva, en edificaciones preexistentes. Donde se analiza el desarrollo de estrategias proyectuales, que permiten establecer soluciones, partiendo de la realidad física y social, y contribuyendo a mejorar la calidad de vida de los habitantes. Los capítulos se desarrollan con el objetivo de estudiar diversos aspectos, que han contribuido al origen del concepto de reciclaje en la arquitectura, su importancia y su proceso dentro de la gestión del hábitat. Con el fin de aprender sobre la capacidad regeneradora de la arquitectura, destinada a la ciudad construida en condiciones de deterioro. La condición de deterioro de los tejidos urbanos es un problema común en nuestras ciudades, es necesario evolucionar hacia una nueva práctica de la arquitectura. Reconfigurar nuestra herencia edificatoria, brinda una nueva posibilidad a las personas de habitar estos edificios, fortalecer relaciones sociales, y a la vez mantener su legado en el tiempo. Rehabitar es asumir un compromiso con el entorno y con las personas. Es preciso explorar una nueva perspectiva del desarrollo habitacional, orientando las actuaciones hacia un nuevo modelo edificatorio, donde los edificios resurgen en sí mismos a través de la innovación de lo existente.

This work is an investigation about the process of architectural recycling, based on transforming the collective house from pre-existing buildings. Where the development of design strategies is analyzed, new solutions can be established, starting from the physical and social reality, and contribute to improving the quality of life of the inhabitants. The chapters are developed whit the aim of studying various aspects, which have contributed to the origin of the concept of architectural recycling, its importance and its process within the management of the habitat. Whit the purpose of learning about the regenerative capacity of architecture, destined to the constructed city in conditions of deterioration. This condition of deterioration of the urban tissues is a common problem in our cities, its necessary to evolve towards a new practice of architecture. Reconfiguring our building heritage brings a new possibility for people to inhabit these buildings, to improve social relationships, and keep the legacy in time. Rehab is a commitment whit the environment and people. A new perspective must be explored in housing development, focused in a new building process, where buildings re-emerged in themselves through the innovation of what exist.
