Trascendencia: un diálogo en pintura

Abstract

Se ofrece un cuerpo de trabajo artístico inédito sustentado teóricamente con pensamiento filosófico y referentes artísticos, específicamente pintores surrealistas. Explora temas ontológicos y fenomenológicos; lo que creemos ser ¿real¿ contrastado con la naturaleza transitoria e ilusoria de la propia materia, así como nuestra experiencia subjetiva de ver y entender. Es una práctica absurda intentar alcanzar un más allá, el misterio de la consciencia o el amor; aunque sea un logro imposible, es transcendente dialogarlo con la pintura, con tal fin de poder celebrar el espíritu infinito de transformación que hay debajo de todo y, sobre todo, honrar la brevedad de nuestra experiencia encarnada en la tierra.

This Master¿s thesis offers a body of unpublished artwork supported theoretically with philosophical thought and artistic references, specifically Surrealist painters. It explores ontological and phenomenological themes; What we believe to be¿real¿ contrasted with the transient and illusory nature of the matter itself, as well as our subjective experience of seeing and understanding. It is an absurd practice to try to reach beyond what we see, the mystery of consciousness or love. Although it is an impossible achievement, it is transcendental to create a dialogue with painting, in order to be able to celebrate the infinite spirit of transformation that lies beneath everything and above all, honor the brevity of our incarnated experience on earth.
