CATALOGACIÓN DE LAS FOTOGRAFÍAS ANTIGUAS PERTENECIENTES AL FONDO FOTOGRÁFICO DEL AYUNTAMIENTO DE FUENTEALBILLA (ALBACETE)

Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo es una propuesta de catalogación para el fondo fotográfico del Ayuntamiento de Fuentealbilla (Albacete). Fondo que inicialmente está formado por fotografías prestadas por los habitantes del pueblo, para ser escaneadas y almacenadas en el mismo ayuntamiento con la finalidad de su difusión a través de la publicación de un catálogo. La creación y venta de estos libros fotográficos, así como la creación del fondo fotográfico, se inició en el año 2007 a raíz de un proyecto creado por la Junta de Comunidades de Castilla La Mancha. Nuestra labor es mejorar el sistema de inventariado de esa colección. Gracias a esta catalogación, el Ayuntamiento de Fuentealbilla podrá contar con un sistema que permita una mejor organización y almacenamiento de su patrimonio fotográfico. Permitiendo su ampliación sin riesgos de pérdida de información. Dicho fondo cuenta con alrededor de dos mil fotografías y se prevé que éste siga aumentando con los años. Al haber una amplia gama de fotografías pertenecientes a distintos años, es fácilmente reconocible el cambio que se ha ido produciendo en el pueblo de Fuentealbilla con el paso del tiempo. Este fondo fotográfico, constituye una parte importante del acervo cultural de Fuentealbilla, por lo que resulta indispensable catalogarlo y conservarlo para que futuras generaciones puedan disfrutar de él. La creación de esta base de datos nace de la necesidad de tener un sistema de almacenamiento y catalogación que atienda a diferentes aspectos presentes en las fotografías. La razón por la que se ha decidido emplear este sistema en el fondo fotográfico se debe a las ventajas que presenta frente a otras opciones. Entre estas ventajas se destacan la seguridad que ofrece a la hora de guardar semejante volumen de fotografías, la gran capacidad de almacenamiento y la gran variedad de opciones que ofrece en caso de querer desarrollar nuevos proyectos. Dicha base cuenta actualmente con seiscientas cuarenta fotografías. Para la ejecución de este trabajo, se han empleado diversos recursos tales como la realización de entrevistas, búsquedas bibliográficas, así como consultas webs de diversa índole.

[EN] This work is a cataloging proposal for the photographic collection of the Ayuntamiento de Fuentealbilla (Albacete). Fund that is formed by photographs borrowed by the inhabitants of the town, to be scanned and stored in the same town hall with the purpose of its dissemination through the publication of a catalog. The creation and sale of these photographic books, as well as the creation of the photography fund, began in the year 2007 following a project created by the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla la Mancha.

Our job is to improve the inventory system of that collection. Thanks to this cataloging, the Ayuntamiento de Fuentealbilla will be able to have a system that allows a better organization and storage of their photographic heritage. Allowing its expansion without risk of information loss.

This fund has around two thousand photographs and is expected that it will continue to increase over the years. With a wide range of photographs belonging to different years, it is easily recognizable the change that has been occurring in the town of Fuentealbilla over time. This photographic fund constitutes an important part of the cultural heritage of Fuentealbilla, so it is essential to catalogue and preserve it so that future generations con enjoy it.

The reason for which it has been decided to use a database for the storage of the photographic background is due to the advantages that this system presents in front of other options. These advantages include the security offered by the database when saving such a volume of photographs , the large storage capacity and the wide variety of options offered by a database in case of wanting to develop new projects from the same. This database currently has six hundred and forty photographs.

For the execution of this work, various resources have been used such as conducting interviews, bibliographic searches, as well as web queries of various kinds.
