[EN] The transfer of wireless power (Wireless Power Transfer, WPT) is a technology that allows the transmission of power through the magnetic field, for very short distances, in the area of near fields. The project is an initiative of the AITEX Institute of textile technology.
The objective of this Master's Thesis is the design, manufacture and measurement of antennas, following the Qi international standard, to be integrated in textile garments.
Spiral-type antennas will be designed, using electromagnetic simulators, such as CST, with different geometries and varying the number of turns, separation between threads and the number of layers.
Circuit models will be developed from electromagnetic modeling, to characterize the system's efficiencies.
For the manufacture techniques of embroidery of threads on a textile support will be used.
The measurements will be made in the laboratories of the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications.
The designs will be oriented to realistic applications, such as loading mobile devices into textile garments.
