Metodología para la selección de sistemas ERP para pymes

Abstract

[ES] Los Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) son sistemas de información concebidos para gestionar todos los procesos de una organización, de forma que permiten y facilitan la toma de decisiones desde una perspectiva global de la organización en su conjunto, y no sólo desde un punto de vista departamental. Por ello, este tipo de sistemas se convierten en un factor clave en las organizaciones. Pero evidentemente, no todos los ERP son adecuados para todas las organizaciones, y es muy importante que cada organización implante el sistema ERP más adecuado a sus procesos y características. Para ello, establecer y seguir un proceso de selección es fundamental. Existen diferentes estudios que tratan de identificar y proponer los pasos más adecuados a seguir para una correcta selección de sistemas ERP, pero la mayoría se centran tan sólo en una parte del proceso, y están basados en casos de multinacionales o grandes empresas. Por este motivo, no son aplicables a las pequeñas y medianas empresas (PYMES) españolas. Por ello, en este artículo se presenta la metodología MSERP para la selección de un sistema ERP adecuado a una PYME española que puede servir de guía a este tipo de empresas en selección de un sistema ERP.

[EN] Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) is an information system designed to manage all the processes of an organization, allowing and facilitating decision making from a global point of view, of the organization as a whole, and not only from a point of view. departmental view. Therefore, this type of systems becomes a key factor in organizations. Of course, not all ERPs are suitable for all organizations, and it is very important that each organization implement the ERP system that is most appropriate to its processes and characteristics. To do this, establishing and following a selection process is fundamental. However, many of the criteria can be considered, and it is very complex to take them into account. There are different studies that deal with the process for the selection of ERP systems. But most of them cover just part of this process, and are based on the requirements of multinational or large companies, and are not transferable to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Spain.

In this paper, we present the methodology MSERP for the selection of an ERP system suitable for a Spanish SME, for which, a serie of steps based on the existing literature and the experience of different experts in the sector.
