RETRATO, CONTEXTO Y GEOMETRÍAS.Explorando el rostro humano

Abstract

Este Trabajo Fin de Grado parte de una idea que llevo tiempo desarrollando y consiste en la realización de varios autorretratos y retratos de personas cercanas, intentando representar en ellos no solo físicamente a las mismas, sino también el entorno en el que viven o vivieron, sus circunstancias, inquietudes, iidiosincrasia, etc.

Además durante el desarrollo del proyecto, he explorado a través de una serie de referentes (algunos de ellos procedentes de las vanguardias del siglo xx) y de la propia práctica, las relaciones que se pueden establecer entre el realismo y la abstracción en la práctica pictórica. Para ello he empleado diferentes medios de trabajo: pintura acrílica, óleo, fotografía, transferencias, cianotipias y litografías. Es importante destacar el uso del "Collage" no solo como recurso fisico que nos permite unir fragmentos, (cortando y pegando), sino como recurso conceptual que posibilita la coexistencia de diversas imágenes en una misma escena.

The GFR, consists of the realization of several self-portraits and pictures of people nearby,,trying to represent not only, physically to them, but also the environment in which they live or lived (circumtances, time, concerns, idiosyncrasy etc.).

In addition, we will explore, through a series of references, (some of them cominf from the avant gardes of the twentieth century) and the practice itself, the relationships that can be established between realism and abstraction in pictorial practice. To do this we will use different means of work: acrylic paint, oil painting, photogrsphy, transfers, cyanotype and lithographs. It is important to highlight the use of "Collage" not only as a physical resource that allows us to join fragments, (cutting and pasting), but as a conceptual resource that allows the coexistence of various images in the same scene.
