CREACIÓN ESCULTÓRICA. UNA PRODUCCIÓN PERSONAL BASADA EN EL MODELO FEMENINO

Abstract

En aspectos generales, este proyecto aborda la realización de tres piezas escultóricas las cuales parten de la misma idea pero con planteamientos distintos, teniendo como principal punto de partida la relación entre cuerpo femenino y escultura; así como una fuerte influencia personal como hilo conductor entre las obras del proyecto.

Tras un breve recorrido por la historia del arte, no es posible pensar en esta doctrina sin tener en cuenta la figura de la mujer. El cuerpo femenino ha sido una fuente de inspiración para los artistas. Desde la prehistoria, con sus Venus paleolíticas, hasta el Body Art con Yves Klein y su famosa serie Antropometría; dando lugar a referentes como Gian Lorenzo Bernini, Sandro Botticelli con su obra El Nacimiento de Venus, Julio González, Frida Kahlo y Sukhi Berber, entre otros.

Cada pieza está trabajada con un material diferente, teniendo el bronce, la madera y el hierro como componentes principales del proyecto; existiendo así una metáfora entre la vivencia personal y la resistencia de cada elemento.

This project consists of three sculptures which start from the same idea but with different approaches, starting from the relationship between female body and sculpture; as well as a strong personal influence, reflecting three stages as a common thread between the personal experiences and the works of the project.

After a brief History of Art review, it s not possible to think about this doctrine without taking into account the figure of women. The female body has been a source of inspiration for artists, from prehistory, with its paleolithic Venus, to the Body Art with Yves Klein and his series Anthropometry, giving rise to references as Gian Lorenzo Bernini , Sandro Botticelli with his piece The Birth of Venus, Julio González, Frida Kahlo and Sukhi Berber, among others.

Each piece would be worked with a different material, having bronze, wood and iron as main components; there is thus a metaphor between the personal experience and the resistance of each element.
