INSTALACIONES MULTISENSORIALES.EXPRESIONES DE FORMAS ABSTRACTAS

Abstract

Este trabajo de fin de grado se investiga en referentes y se proyectan y crean diferentes espacios multisensoriales. El hecho de que cada uno de ellos haya sido realizado en un espacio, tiempo y lugar distintos implica el análisis de diferentes metodologías de creación. Un valor añadido que aportan los espacios donde se puede interactuar es que el visitante pase de ser un mero espectador para formar parte de la instalación. La gran versatilidad de estos permite que se adapten al espacio escogido siguiendo un patrón parecido al de las personas que acuden a visitarlas. ¿Los participantes¿ son un elemento nuclear al considerarlos imprescindibles para dar la obra por concluida. Es esta forma como se habilita la conexión entre todos los elementos: espacio, materiales, energías, espectador, sujeto, etc. para ir completando la propuesta. La variabilidad de las distintas propuestas nos permite convivir con espacios donde la característica principal será la acción realizada, junto a otros donde se podrán transformar en una pieza de la obra o se añadirán características diferentes para poder activar varios sentidos a la misma vez. En definitiva, tratamos de poner en juego lo aprendido durante los estudios de grado con un enfoque interdisciplinar y con la intención de transformar el ¿espectador¿ en ¿participante¿ o ¿activador¿ de la obra y con ello hacer que el propio espacio escogido sea parte de la misma obra y no solo sea una forma contenedora.

This final year dissertation shows the projection and creation of various multisensory spaces and the research work over related artistic references. The different location in time, space and place of every project implies an analysis of different creation methodologies. The visitor leaves his old role of spectator to end taking part in the installation, which gives an added value to the work. The wide versatility of the pieces allowed them to be adapted to the chosen place, following a similar pattern to the one followed by visitors. ¿Participants¿ are an essential element, required to consider the artwork as finished. Is this how all elements (space, material, energies, spectator, subject, etc) are linked in order to complete the piece. The variety of the different purposes allows us to cohabitate spaces where the action developed would be the main characteristic, along with other scenarios where one can become a peace of the work or some characteristics would be added to stimulate different senses at the same time. In conclusion, we are pretending to develop what has been learned during the degree studies with a cross-discipline focus and the intention of transforming the ¿spectator¿ into a ¿participant¿ or ¿activator¿ of the piece, allowing the chosen place to be part of the work itself and not just a containing item.
