Realización del vídeo musical Vuelve de la banda The Covers Duo

Abstract

[ES] En este proyecto se presentan las conclusiones de la realización de la producción de un video musical para el canal de YouTube de The Covers Duo, empezando desde la investigación de los efectos que quieren realizar, la preproducción necesaria, pasando por la producción y post producción del video clip. The Covers Duo es una agrupación musical de Quito, Ecuador, formada en el 2009 por David Albán y Pamela Romero. En el año 2012, deciden abrir su propio canal de Youtube donde realizan covers de canciones populares, bandas sonoras de series de anime y también canciones propias. Actualmente tienen más de 450.000 suscriptores y ofrecen conciertos en varios países de Latinoamérica. Se ha seleccionado esta banda debido a un vínculo profesional y personal con el grupo, al ser su ingeniero de sonido desde el inicio de su carrera. Y ahora que tengo más conocimientos del ámbito audiovisual, puedo contribuir con este proyecto en más facetas. El video que se realiza con The Covers Duo, aplica conocimientos adquiridos en el Master de Postproducción Digital como; efectos con croma, Motion Graphics y correción de color.

[EN] Production of a music video for The Cover’s Duo’s official Youtube channel, starting with the investigation of the special effects that are meant to be included and the preproduction, production, and postproduction needed for a music video. The Covers Duo is a music band from Quito, Ecuador formed in 2009 by David Alban and Pamela Romero. In 2012 they decide to open their own Youtube channel where they upload covers of popular songs, themes from openings of anime and also their own music. By this date they have around 450.000 subscribers and they offer performances all over Latin America. This band is selected because of a professional and personal link that I have with the band, myself being their sound engineer since their beginnings. Now that I have more knowledge in the audiovisual area I can contribute with this project in more ways. The videoclip that I want to create with The Covers Duo, will apply knowledge that I’ve learned in the Master, like chroma effects, Motion Graphics and color correction.
