Abstract

[ES] En este proyecto se describe una solución que intenta paliar uno de los problemas que desgraciadamente está a la orden del día: la violencia de género. En principio, esta aplicación está diseñada y desarrollada para el colectivo femenino como herramienta de prevención, protección y alerta en situaciones de posible peligro. En un futuro se pretende ampliar la funcionalidad para atender otros colectivos vulnerables: LGBT, periodistas en ciertos lugares, activistas en zonas conflictivas, etc. De otra forma, toda la población puede participar en ella de manera secundaria, pero no menos importante. Haciendo uso de un mapa de calor, esta herramienta ofrece la posibilidad de conectar entre las usuarias por zonas (todas las direcciones que ofrece el buscador de Google Maps), de tal manera que permita en lo posible, que no se sientan solas en determinadas situaciones (por ejemplo, a la hora de coger un taxi, a la salida de un local de fiesta…) y que las personas con quien se encuentren en contacto puedan reaccionar ante notificaciones de la chica, teniendo ésta la opción de preguntar si alguna de sus compañera querría compartir un taxi, alertar si siente algún tipo de amenaza en el camino y de informar de su llegada al destino. Además, la aplicación presenta un acceso rápido a botones de emergencia para llamada rápida y directa al 016, 112 o Policía, añadiendo la posibilidad de guardar una lista de contactos favoritos a los que se les enviará un mensaje con la posición y hora en que se aprieta el botón. En un futuro, esta aplicación también contendrá otras secciones dedicadas a las noticias sobre el tema o que sean de interés entre la comunidad de usuarias. Habrá un portal de noticias, una pestaña de fácil uso para donar dinero a asociaciones contra la violencia de género, así como una lista de las donaciones que se han realizado (siempre y cuando la usuaria decida que esta sea pública).
