TURANDOT.PROYECTO GRÁFICO EN FORMATO LIBRO INSPIRADO EN LA ÓPERA

Abstract

[EN] This project is composed in two parts, in the first part there is a theoretical introduction that that has involved a work of documentation and research of conceptual and artistic references related to this opera, and a second part the second part it's focused on a personal project based on the elaboration of the pre-production and the creation of a set of illustrations that will be used for the creation of an artist's book in a fold-out format, in which, these digital illustrations will be found,with the text of the book's script. The illustrations are divided into two formats and try to represent, on the one hand, on the front of the paper and in horizontal format, the most relevant characters of the opera, each located in their own context, trying to create an appropriate setting , these characters are united by a red line that is a reference to the red string of destiny, exposed in the memory on the other hand, on the back of the sheets there are texts of the work accompanied by illustrations in vertical format, which are refered to the text, trying to be as faithful as possible to this, but bringing new elements.

[ES] Este proyecto se compone de dos fases, en la primera parte se encuentra una introducción teórica que ha conllevado un trabajo de documentación y de búsqueda de referentes tanto conceptuales como artísticos relacionados con esta ópera y la segunda parte se centra en un proyecto personal basado en la elaboración de la preproducción y la creación de un conjunto de ilustraciones que posteriormente serán utilizadas para la creación de un libro de artista en formato desplegable, en el cual se encontrarán estas ilustraciones realizadas digitalmente acompañadas por el texto del libreto de la obra. Las ilustraciones se encuentran divididas en dos formatos y tratan de representar, por una parte, en el anverso del papel y en formato horizontal, a los personajes más relevantes de la ópera, situados cada uno en su propio contexto, tratando de crear una ambientación adecuada, estos personajes se encuentran unidos por una línea roja que hace referencia al hilo rojo del destino, expuesto en la memoria, por otro lado, en el reverso de las hojas se encuentran los textos de la obra acompañados por ilustraciones en formato vertical, las cuales hacen referencia al texto, intentando ser todo lo fieles posibles a este, pero aportando elementos nuevos.
