Rehabilitación estructural del Ayuntamiento de Ambato en Ecuador

Abstract

[ES] El presente estudio tiene como objetivo la rehabilitación estructural del ayuntamiento de Ambato-Ecuador con el fin de devolverle primeramente una apariencia mucho más acorde a uso de la edificación, y para prevenir futuros daños en las instalaciones. El diagnostico de los daños en la estructura se efectua mediante inspecciones visuales, recopilación de datos y de una documentación fotográfica para cada caso. Se elaboraran fichas de diagnóstico y tratamiento, en las cuales se precisa el agente causal de la lesión encontrada y el proceso de rehabilitación sugerido según la naturaleza de cada caso. Posteriormente se identifican cuales son las estructuras más deterioradas para aplicar un tratamiento adecuado y evitar lesiones o daños en otros elementos. Debido a las condiciones observadas, es la cubierta y las vigas interiores las que deben ser tratadas ya que existe un diseño estructural basado en la teoría de resistencia de materiales. Se han propuesto métodos de rehabilitación para estructuras de adobe y madera, que sirvan de refuerzo para las estructuras y garanticen su correcto comportamiento ante sucesos posteriores de deterioro. Como último, se elabora un presupuesto que tiene la finalidad de dar a conocer el costo de las intervenciones propuestas para cada caso.

[EN] The objective of this study is the structural refurbishment of the city council of Ambato in Ecuador in order to return it to a much more common appearance to the use of the building, and to prevent future damages in the facilities. Rehabilitation methods have been proposed for adobe and wood structures, which serve as reinforcement for the structures and guarantee their correct behavior in the face of events subsequent deterioration. Lastly, a budget is prepared which has the purpose of making known the cost of the interventions proposed for each case.
