Sonidos patrimoniables: prácticas artísticas en los lavaderos comunitarios del barrio El Paraiso, Bogotá

Abstract

[ES] Frente a la transparencia del “todo es lo mismo”, que hace desaparecer la otredad bajo la luz de lo idéntico, la imagen tal vez no sea la manera más eficaz para tratar los valores patrimoniales de un territorio. En el imaginario de las personas y en la literatura oficial acerca de la ciudad contemporánea, el hábitat popular se ofrece siempre igual a sí mismo: “anomalía” generada por la informalidad urbana y económica. En realidad, el hábitat popular resguarda valores patrimoniales propios e importantes para la cohesión social, que la violencia de la hipervisibilidad, así como de la transparencia, violentan y degradan, estereotipando o estigmatizando la vida de los barrios populares, como pobres, marginales, etc. La presente comunicación trata sobre la investigación-creación como una potente aproximación al estudio participativo del valor lo patrimoniable. Presenta el caso de la localidad Pardo Rubio, en la Franja de Adecuación de los Cerros Orientales de Bogotá, sobre unas prácticas artísticas realizadas por la Universidad Antonio Nariño y la Universidad El Bosque involucrando grupos focales para el estudio de los valores territoriales. En dichas prácticas, que giraron alrededor de los lavaderos comunitarios del barrio El Paraíso, se desvelaron memorias, imaginarios, legados culturales. Los resultados arrojaron el reconocimiento de valores afectivos, identitarios y simbólicos del lavadero comunitario, que se materializaron en una creación sonora y el audiovisual “Albercazo: patrimoniable sonoro en borde urbano”. El “sonido patrimoniable”, punto de llegada de esta experiencia, representa en realidad un punto de partida hacia la exploración sobre los sonidos patrimoniables (SO-PA) en el estudio del paisaje sonoro. Se concluye en la comunicación que no es tanto el ojo sino el oido quien captura el espíritu del lugar.

[EN] Facing the transparency given by the expression "everything is the same", which makes otherness disappear under the light of the identical, the image may not be the most effective way to deal with the heritage values of a territory. In the people’s imaginary and in the official literature about the contemporary city, the ‘popular habitat’ imaginary always offers itself always in the same way: as an “anomaly" generated by urban and economic informality. Certainly, the popular habitat protects heritage values that are important for social cohesion, those that the violence of hyper visibility as well as transparency usually violate and degrade, stereotyping or stigmatizing the life of popular neighbourhoods, as poor, marginal, etc. The present communication deals with research-creation as a powerful approach to the participatory study of the values of the popular habitat heritage. It presents the Colombian study case of the Pardo Rubio locality, in the Strip of Eastern Hills of popular neighbourhoods of Bogota, where some artistic practices were carried out by the Antonio Nariño University and the El Bosque University, involving focal groups for the study of the territorial values. In these artistic practices, developed at the Community Laundries of the El Paraíso neighbourhood, memories, imaginary, cultural legacies were revealed. The results showed the recognition of affective, identity and symbolic values of Community Laundries, which materialized in a sound creation and the audiovisual "Albercazo: sonorous games - patrimony in urban edge". The "heritageable” sound-scapes", seen as the point of arrival of this experience, in reality represent a starting point towards the exploration of heritageable sounds (SO-PA) in the study of the sound-scape. The conclusions in this communication, show that it is not the eye, but the ear that captures the spirit of the place.
