Matriz. Libro de Artista

Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo consiste en tres libros de artista que juntos forman una sola obra, denominada Matriz, título que hace referencia a la idea principal del libro: la madre. La conexión que existe entre ellos es, por tanto, el concepto de la mujer y su rol dentro de la familia.

No obstante, aunque a nivel conceptual todos los libros tienen relación entre sí, cada uno se ha abordado de forma diferente. Es por este motivo que aunque estéticamente son similares con el fin de no romper la cohesión visual, el interior se ha desarrollado utilizando técnicas y procedimientos distintos como la serigrafía, el corte láser y el bordado. También, al tratarse de tres obras cuyo interior está representado de diversas formas, la encuadernación ha variado de una a otra.

[EN] This work consists of three artist books that together form a single work, called Matrix, title that refers to the main idea of ¿¿the book: the Mother. The connection that exists between them is, therefore, the concept of women and their role within the family.

However, although at a conceptual level all books are related to each other, each one has been approached in a different way. It is for this reason that although aesthetically they are similar in order not to break the visual cohesion, the interior has been developed using different techniques and procedures such as screen printing, laser cutting and embroidery. Also, because the interior is represented in different ways, the binding has varied in each one.
