BIPOLAR. Reflexión personal desde la práctica artística sobre un trastorno emocional

Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo es una reflexión a través del análisis artístico interdisciplinar sobre el trastorno maniaco- depresivo. Donde se retrata la enfermedad en si misma de una de manera conceptual con representaciones sencillas y claras que la definen. La obra la componen dos series, y una subserie adherida a una de ellas. La primera, donde se define que es la bipolaridad, la forman nueve piezas que están realizadas con la técnica de monotipos a una sola tinta, en este caso oleo negro y la segunda, que ejemplifica el proceso que se sufre en una de sus crisis, compuesta de 4 piezas cerámicas de color negro. Así pues, el negro toma protagonismo como representación negativa o lado oscuro de la enfermedad además de ser el hilo conductor. Con esto, el objetivo es el de enseñar al público qué le sucede realmente a una persona bipolar y así reflexionen sobre cómo afecta eso al desarrollo de su día a día, como empatizar y saber afrontar o detectar personas que sufren estas enfermedades emocionales cercanas a nosotros, tanto para poder ayudarles cómo ayudarse uno mismo si es la situación, ya que esta enfermedad no solo afecta a la vida del individuo que la padece sino también a las personas de su entorno.

[EN] This artwork is a reflection through artistic practice about the manic-depressive disorder. Where is framed this sickness itself in a conceptual way with clear and simple representations that define it. The artwork is composed of two series and a subseries on it to one of them. In the first one is defined what bipolar is and has nine pieces made of monotype in one color, black oil in this case and the second one where is exemplified the process of a bipolar crisis, made by 4 black clay pieces. This way, the black color shows the negative representation or dark side of the sickness plus connecting them. With this, the intention is to show the public what is really happening to a bipolar person and make them reflect about how that affects their days, how to empathize and know how to aboard or detect people how suffer of this emotional affections close to us, trying to help them as much as to help ourselves, if it is necessary, because this sickness affects not just that person live but the lives of all the people around them too.
