Abstract

[EN] The present report includes the preproduction of a short animation in 2D with the name of Recreativos Rurales, which tells how two anthropomorphic insects discover an old recreational machine. The work encompasses the different stages of development: idea, script, storyboard, character design, backgrounds and animatics. The short has a humoristic and manners approach with an autobiographical part; Going directed to the classic video game enthusiast, although it can be appreciated by a general public. The intention of this project is the final creation of the animated short film and its objective is the promotion of the retro-computing and videogame "Retropolis" days that are held at the ETSINF of the Universitat Politècnica de València.

[ES] La presente memoria recoge la preproducción de un corto de animación en 2D con el nombre Recreativos Rurales, en el cual se cuenta como dos insectos antropomórficos descubren una antigua máquina recreativa. El trabajo engloba las diferentes fases del desarrollo: idea, guion, storyboard, diseño de personajes, fondos y animática. El corto tiene un enfoque humorístico y costumbrista con parte autobiográfica; yendo dirigido al entusiasta de videojuegos clásicos, aunque puede ser apreciado por un público general. La intención de este proyecto es la creación final del corto animado y tiene como objetivo la promoción de las jornadas sobre retro informática y videojuegos "Retropolis" que se celebran anualmente en el ETSINF de la Universitat Politècnica de València.
