Abstract

[ES] Recreando la memoria. Representación del recuerdo y el olvido desde la práctica artística se presenta como un proyecto interdisciplinar realizado durante el cuarto año del grado en Bellas Artes. En este trabajo se pretende tratar el tema de la memoria desde el punto de vista de cómo se suceden las acciones de olvidar y el intento de preservar recuerdos mediante recursos escultóricos. De esta forma, este documento muestra una contextualización en la que se platea el tema de la memoria desde su parte fisiológica con referentes científicos a nivel teórico en el ámbito de la psicología, que investigaron desde finales del siglo XIX dicha cuestión. Así como, la materialización de las obras y los referentes artísticos de los cuales se retroalimentaron las piezas a nivel conceptual y material.

El proyecto está compuesto por varias obras, una instalación en la que se desarrolla la acción de disolución de recuerdos, haciendo referencia a una posible imagen del concepto de olvido. Así como una serie de piezas de carácter objetual asociadas a la idea de querer conservar recuerdos y la imposibilidad final de este deseo.

[EN] Recreating memory. Representation of the memory and forgetting from the artistic practice is presented as an interdisciplinary project carried out during the fourth year of the degree in Fine Arts. In this paper we try to deal with the subject of memory from the point of view of how the actions of forgetting take place and the attempt to preserve memories through sculptural resources.

In this way, this document shows a contextualization in which the subject of memory is staged from its physiological part with scientific references at the theoretical level in the field of psychology, which investigated since the end of the nineteenth century, the question. As well as, the materialization of the works and the artistic referents of which the pieces were fed back to the conceptual and material level.

The project consists of several works, an installation in which the action of dissolving memories takes place, making reference to a possible image of the concept of oblivion. As well as a series of pieces of an objective nature associated with the idea of wanting to preserve memories and the final impossibility of this desire.
