Belleza fuera del molde. Proyecto pictórico a partir de otros cuerpos y otros cánones

Abstract

[ES] En Belleza fuera del molde se recoge un proyecto pictórico en torno al tema de la belleza y el canon. Se expone también un desarrollo conceptual acerca del estereotipo de belleza actual creado por los mass media. Se analiza cómo la publicidad influye en la difusión de estos estereotipos y se estudia la red social Instagram como perpetuación de estos modelos al tiempo que surgen nuevos movimientos que reivindican otros cuerpos y otros cánones. En el trabajo se recogen cuatro series realizadas con diferentes técnicas artísticas, que reclaman la defensa de la singularidad frente al estereotipo promoviendo la variedad frente a la uniformización del molde que nos imponen.

[EN] In Beauty outside the mould you will find a Pythoric project surrounding the theme of beauty and canon. It also exposes a conceptual development about the stereotype of current beauty created by the mass media. It analyzes how advertising influences the dissemination of these stereotypes, and studies the social network Instagram as a perpetuation of these models, while new movements emerge, vindicating other bodies and other canons. The following essay includes four series made with different artistic techniques, which claim the defense of singularity against stereotypes, promoting variety against the uniformity of the mould under which we are imposed.
