INSTRUCCIONES Y CONSEJOS PARA PRINCIPIANTES EN UN HUERTO ECOLÓGICO

Abstract

[ES] En este trabajo se ha comenzado a plantear un proyecto de libro ilustrado sobre agricultura orgánica llamado Instrucciones y consejos para principiantes en un huerto ecológico. Con él se pretende aclarar conceptos y difundir conocimientos sobre labores agrícolas desde la experiencia y a través de la ilustración. Es estas páginas se recoge el inicio de un proceso de investigación teórico y gráfico que se continuará a posteriori, hasta la edición y final publicación del libro. Repasaremos la historia del libro ilustrado y entraremos en el contexto del siglo XX para hablar de la Revolución industrial, la Revolución verde, la agricultura convencional y la crisis climática. Nombraremos movimientos y personas que nos han servido de referencia. Todo esto para comprender el sentido del proyecto.

[EN] The aim of this dissertation is to start the launch of a project that consists in an illustrated book about organic agriculture. Under the title Organic gardening tips and instructions for beginners, this book aims to clarify some key aspects about agricultural work and to spread empirical knowledge about this subject by means of illustration. These pages comprise the start of a theoretical and graphic research process that will continue in the future, until the edition and publication of the book are complete. In order to fully understand the meaning of this project, we will review the history of the illustrated book, taking into account the social context of the 20th century and paying special attention to the industrial revolution, the green revolution, conventional agriculture and the climate crisis that global warming has originated. We will also point out specific figures and movements in history that have been taken as a reference.
