Abstract

[ES] Como decía Henry Cartier-Bresson en sus inicios (por allá en los años 30) la fotografía urbana se trata de capturar el ¿momento decisivo¿. Hay muchos tipos de equipos que pueden ayudarnos a capturar estos momentos, tenemos gran variedad para elegir, cámaras compactas telemétricas, réflex analógicas o digitales o incluso hoy en día la del móvil suele ser de gran calidad. Como en todo lo que hacemos la practica hace al maestro y la fotografía urbana no es la excepción, el ojo y la técnica se entrenan saliendo a hacer fotos, conociendo tu equipo y jugando con sus posibilidades. Mi trabajo suelo llevarlo a cabo con una réflex digital (DSLR), pero hace poco tiempo estoy experimentando con una réflex analógica con película a color o blanco y negro de 35mm, algo totalmente nuevo para mi ya que la cámara de carrete que he usado antes eran automáticas. En la fotografía urbana disparar en el momento justo puede llevarnos a tener muy buenos resultados, fotografías con mucho carácter. Entre los momentos que he captado se hay retratos, escenas, edificios, etc. Normalmente salgo de casa con mi equipo sin un camino predeterminado, me gusta mas salir a hacer deriva si salgo con el fin de hacer fotografías, aunque he de decir que siempre llevo una camara encima, se ha convertido en una parte muy importante de mí.

[EN] As Henry Cartier-Bresson said in its beginnings (back in the 30s) urban photography is about capturing the "decisive moment". There are many types of equipment that can help us capture these moments, we have a wide variety to choose from, compact telemetric cameras, analog or digital SLR cameras or even today the mobile phone is usually of high quality. As in everything we do, the practice makes the master and urban photography is not the exception, the eye and the technique are trained by taking pictures, knowing your team and playing with their possibilities. My work is usually done with a digital SLR (DSLR), but recently I have been experimenting with an analog SLR with color film or 35mm black and white, something totally new for me since the reel camera that I used before they were automatic. In urban photography shoot at the right time can lead us to have very good results, photographs with a lot of character. Between the moments that I have captured there are portraits, scenes, buildings, etc. Normally I leave home with my team without a predetermined path, I like more to leave to drift if I go out in order to take pictures, although I have to say that I always carry a camera above, it has become a very important part of me.
