La Llegenda de Sant Jordi, el drac i la princesa: nueva propuesta sobre la dirección artística del espectáculo

Abstract

[CA] La Llegenda de Sant Jordi, el drac i la princesa és un obra de teatre que es representa cada tres anys en Banyeres de Mariola. L´obra, que va començar com un teatre de carrer ha anat creixent i consolidant-se. Ara es representa en un parc, amb una participació d´uns 200 actors amateurs, però l´envergadura del espectacle ha fet que hi hagen parts descuidades o que no s´han revisat malgrat les innovacions. El propòsit d´aquest treball és dotar l, espectacle d´una factura professional en el referent a la seua part estètica; per eixe motiu es dota d´una nova concepció a la direcció artística del espectacle. Es desenvolupen les àrees d´escenografia, vestuari i utileria tenint en conter les arrels del teatre popular valencià, la viabilitat de producció i econòmica i l´essència de l´espectacle.

[EN] La Llegenda de Sant Jordi, el drac i la princes is a play that is performed every three years in Banyeres de Mariola. The play, which began as a street theatre, has grown and consolidated. Nowadays it is performed in a park, with 200 amateur actors, but the size of the show has led to unclean parts or have not been checked despite the innovations. The intention of this work is to provide the show of a professional invoice in the reference to a aesthetic part; for this reason a new conceptions is given to the artistic direction of the show. The scenography, clothing and utility areas are developed, which contain the roots of the Valencian popular theater, the viability of production and the economic and the essence of the show.
