CENTÍMETROS CONCRETOS. LA GEOMETRÍA COMO LENGUAJE PICTÓRICO

Abstract

[EN] Concretiones. The geometry as a pictoric language, is a theoretical-practical project that arises from the reflection between the artistic work and its relation with different theoretical aspects, such as the influence of movements and artists, Kazimir Malevich and Suprematism, Piet Mondrian and Neoplasticism or Theo van Doesburg and Concrete Art, and the conceptual concepts of geometric abstraction, such as color, composition and form, with special emphasis on the relationships established between geometric figures and chromatic contras, and how these elements, united as a single concept of creation, have been fundamental to create equilibria and have helped in the development and formation of a pictorial language of their own.

La geometría como lenguaje pictórico, es un proyecto de carácter teórico-práctico, que surge de la reflexión entre la obra artística propia y su relación con diferentes aspectos teóricos, como la influencia de movimientos y artistas como Kazimir Malevich y el Suprematismo, Piet Mondrian y el Neoplasticismo o Theo van Doesburg y el Arte Concreto, y de aspectos conceptuales de la abstracción geométrica, como el color, la composición y la forma, con especial énfasis en las relaciones que se establecen entre las figuras geométricas y los contrastes cromáticos, y cómo estos elementos unidos como un único concepto de creación, han sido fundamentales para crear composiciones equilibradas y han ayudado en el desarrollo y la formación de un lenguaje pictórico propio.
