Abstract

[ES] El edificio está situado en el pueblo de pescadores de El Palmar, en el sur de Valencia. El proyecto tendrá lugar en una parcela con un edificio existente que se considera importante para el pueblo. La primera estrategia sería incluir el edificio existente, ya que es lo que el pueblo necesita para revitalizarse y obtener reconocimiento por su valor histórico. La segunda estrategia sería crear un escenario donde la Trilladora del Tocayo se convierta en el centro de atención, la protagonista. La tercera estrategia sería trabajar en una secuencia de eventos que dividiría la parcela en tres áreas que terminarían en la trilladora presentando cuatro etapas: conocer, experimentar crear y comer. Sin duda, se conservarían los diferentes puntos de vista de los alrededores para absorber completamente la belleza del paisaje y la experiencia dramática que propone el nuevo edificio.

[EN] The building is situated in the fishermen village of El Palmar in the south of Valencia. The project is supposed to take place in a plot with an existing building that is considered important for the town. The first strategy would be to include the existing building since it¿s certainly what the town needs to revive itself and gain recognition for its historical value. The second strategy would be a scenario where the Tocayo thresher is the center of attention, the protagonist, that the program revolves around. The third strategy would be to work primarily in the sequence of events we wish the building would carry out. Therefore, the plot would be divided in three areas ending in the thresher presenting four stages: knowing, experiencing creating and dining. Without a question, it would be vital to conserve different views to completely absorb the beauty of the landscape and the dramatic experience the new building proposes.
