Un viaje sin parada. Estación de Sagunto

Abstract

[ES] Con esta propuesta se pretende responder a las carencias del municipio de Sagunto, que está en continuo crecimiento y necesita adaptarse al desarrollo tanto comercial como industrial. Por ello, se crea una estación que se ajuste al número de habitantes actual y que pueda ser usada en caso de que crezca la población. También se establece una conexión directamente e indirectamente entre las dos partes de las vías para solucionar la barrera principal entre los dos núcleos de la ciudad. Para conseguir la homogeneidad, por una parte, se construye un borde de la ciudad con usos adicionales para completar el municipio y por otra parte se crea un parque y espacio de reunión para ampliar la ciudad. En conclusión, con este proyecto se pretende mejorar la conexión tanto a nivel social como a nivel físico y aportar un gran valor a la ciudad, conseguir que sea un icono.

[EN] This proposal aims to respond to the shortcomings of the municipality of Sagunto, which is in continuous growth and needs to adapt to both commercial and industrial development. Therefore, a station is created that adjusts to the current number of inhabitants and that can be used if the population grows. A connection is also established directly and indirectly between the two parts of the roads to solve the main barrier between the two nuclei of the city. To achieve homogeneity, on the one hand, an edge of the city is built with additional uses to complete the municipality and on the other hand a park and meeting space is created to expand the city. In conclusion, this project aims to improve the connection both socially and physically and bring great value to the city, making it an icon.
