Segorbe: un lugar llamado estación

Abstract

[ES] El proyecto busca conectar el núcleo urbano de la ciudad de Segorbe con el emplazamiento en el que se encuentra la estación de tren, mediante la construcción de un nuevo edificio de estación y un albergue turístico que potencie la zona y sirva como punto de referencia en la ciudad. Ambos usos surgen como dos piezas que, con un mismo sentido constructivo, se relacionan con las dos construcciones preexistentes halladas en el emplazamiento consiguiendo así dar unidad al extenso paseo que las separa.

[EN] The aim of this project is to connect the city centre of Segorbe with the current location in which the train station is placed, through the construction of a new station and a tourist hostel that enhances the area and becomes a reference in the city. Both the train station and the tourist hostel arise as two pieces that, with the same constructive sense, relate to two pre-existing buildings located on the site unifying the long distance that exists between them.
