Malilla. Centro cultural

Abstract

[ES] El análisis exhaustivo del barrio de Malilla conduce hacia una propuesta de regeneración mediante acupuntura urbana, de la cual se escoge uno de los equipamientos propuestos para ser, finalmente, el objeto de este trabajo final de máster. De dicho análisis se deduce la carencia cultural del barrio como punto originario de varios de los problemas graves de Malilla. Por esta razón, se proyecta un impulsor cultural compuesto por 5 edificios, a saber: una biblioteca, un auditorio, un aulario, un restaurante/cafetería y administración. Los volúmenes se conciben pertenecientes a un mismo todo, relacionándose mediante una pasarela principal y vegetación. La mezcla por capas del jardín, la pasarela, las plazas y las piezas edificadas crean un micro-mundo donde el conocimiento se convierte en algo tan atrayente como poderoso, produciendo un punto de inflexión en este barrio.

[EN] The exhaustive analysis of the Malilla neighborhood leads to a regeneration proposal through urban acupuncture, from which one of the proposed facilities is chosen to be, finally, the object of this final master's project. From this analysis we can deduce the cultural lack of the neighborhood as the originating point of several of Malilla's serious problems. For this reason, a cultural impeller is projected consisting of 5 buildings, which are: a library, an auditorium, a classroom, a restaurant / cafeteria and administration. The volumes are conceived belonging to the same whole, connected by a main walkway and vegetation.

The layered mix of the garden, the walkway, the squares and the built-up pieces create a micro-world where knowledge becomes as attractive as powerful, producing a turning point in this neighborhood.
