La Ciudad Flexible: Hábitat

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo final de máster pretende materializar, en un caso práctico real, las conclusiones obtenidas en la anterior investigación de TFG ¿Espacio y tiempo fenomenológico en el Hábitat¿.

Después de indagar y analizar la evolución y estado actual del distrito de Ciutat Vella en Valencia, el presente proyecto propone un diseño arquitectónico cuya intención principal es aprovechar su gran número de vacíos urbanos ofreciendo viviendas de alquiler social temporal. Se pretende facilitar la restitución de aquellas personas que por razones económicas no pueden vivir allí, así como, fomentar la relación de éstas con los actuales habitantes y turistas que visitan la ciudad. El conjunto propuesto está preparado para adaptarse en uso y forma al contexto global contemporáneo y modificarse a lo largo del tiempo en base a las necesidades sociales, culturales, económicas y ambientales que puedan aparecer, tanto en las unidades domésticas del conjunto como en el distrito, ciudad o sociedad.

[EN] This master thesis aims to materialize in a real practical case the conclusions obtained in the previous bachelor thesis research "Space and phenomenological time in the Habitat".

After investigating and analyzing the evolution and current status from Ciutat Vella district in Valencia, this project proposes an architectural design which main intention is to take advantage of its large number of urban voids by offering temporary social rental housing. It is intended to facilitate the restitution of those people who for economic reasons cannot live there, as well as encourage the relationship of these with the current inhabitants and tourists who visit the city. The proposed set is prepared to adapt in use and shape to the contemporary global context and to be modified over time based on the social, cultural, economic and environmental needs that may appear, both in the domestic units of the group as well as in the district, city or society.
