Un paseo sobre L Horta

Abstract

[ES] En la última década del siglo XX y la primera del siglo XXI se ejecutaron dos nuevas circunvalaciones entorno a la ciudad de valencia, estas son conocidas como la Ronda Norte (CV-30) y la Ronda Sur. Debido a la interrupción en el desarrollo urbanístico en la ciudad de Valencia entre 2008 y 2018, con la ejecución de dichas rondas, se han generado multitud de solares residuales y dejado incompleto el tratamiento del borde urbano en relación con la huerta. Una de las áreas afectadas por este fenómeno es el tramo de Ronda Norte en relación con la huerta y con los barrios de Rascanya y Torrefiel, quedando por urbanizar una superficie de más de 75000 metros cuadrados. Esta superficie será la escogida para una intervención urbanística de consolidación de borde e implementación de varios equipamientos públicos en respuesta a las necesidades vecinales detectadas tanto mediante participación ciudadana como mediante el análisis de datos geográficamente referenciados. Frente al riesgo de expansión urbana mediante la traslación de los ejes urbanos al otro lado de la ronda se plantea un recorrido elevado que permita un recorrido lineal paralelo a la huerta con una nueva perspectiva. Este recorrido se materializará en una estructura que dará soporte a multitud de actividades tanto en la parte superior como bajo de ella, y que en definitiva supondrá un obstáculo para el crecimiento de la ciudad con el fin de preservar a largo plazo la huerta de Valencia. Al mismo tiempo se propone reducir la sección de la Ronda Norte suprimiendo las aceras y recuperar la trama original de la huerta mediante un parque agrario productivo.

[EN] In the last decade of the twentieth century and the first of the twenty-first century two new circuits around the city of Valencia were implanted, these are known as Ronda Norte (CV-30) and Ronda Sur. Due to the interruption of the urban development in the city of Valencia between 2008 and 2018, with the placement of these rounds, lots of waste has been generated and the treatment of the urban edge in relation to the garden has been left incomplete. One of the areas affected by this phenomenon is the section of Ronda Norte in relation to the orchard and the neighborhoods of Rascanya and Torrefiel, leaving a non urbanized area of more than 75,000 square meters. This surface will be chosen for an urban intervention of edge consolidation and implementation of several public facilities in response to the neighborhood needs detected thanks to the citizen participation and through the analysis of geographically referenced data. Faced with the risk of urban expansion through the translation of the urban axes on the other side of the round, a high route is proposed that allows a linear route parallel to the orchard with a new perspective. This tour will materialize in a structure that will support a multitude of activities both in the upper and lower part of it, and which will ultimately be an obstacle to the growth of the city in order to preserve Valencian garden in the long term. At the same time there¿s a proposal to reduce the section of the North Round by eliminating the sidewalks and recovering the original plot of the garden through a productive agricultural park.
