Centro intergeneracional en el barrio de Torrefiel, Valencia

Abstract

[ES] El objeto del presente proyecto radica en un programa completo de Centro Intergeneracional en el barrio de Torrefiel, situado al norte de la ciudad de Valencia. Con el fin y la oportunidad única para desarrollar un nuevo programa que se sume a las actuales respuestas de manera desprejuiciada, optimista y propositiva.

Se plantea una respuesta al programa que integra y ofrece oportunidades para que distintas generaciones y población se crucen y convivan entre si, es por eso que el proyecto contempla una visión integral basada en el intercambio concreto y continuo de recursos y en el aprendizaje entre las diversas generaciones con el fin de conseguir beneficios individuales y sociales.

Uno de los puntos clave del proyecto viene marcado por su situación, ya que este se sitúa en una parcela en el borde norte entre la hitórica huerta y la ciudad de Valencia, además de contar con la proximidad del Monasterio San Miguel de los Reyes, un hito importante en la ciudad. Dicha localización genera un más que motivado interés en el proyecto, no solo por el programa, sino por el apego de trasladar el concepto de huerta a la ciudad, una ciudad dividida de la huerta por la Ronda Norte, una vía con gran afluencia de vehículos.

Con estos antecedentes impuestos por el lugar, la idea de proyecto se basa en crear una conexión tanto física como conceptual de la huerta con la ciudad. Trasladando el concepto de la histórica huerta de Valencia, la cual se ve identificada con el proyecto con la segregación de la ciudad mediante parcelas y estas a su vez trabajadas mediante caballones, el elemento más importante para trabajar y dar vida a la huerta. Estos elementos se disponen segregando el ruido del intenso tráfico de la ronda norte. El terreno se recorta interpretando los tres tejidos de la huerta: el camino, el caballón y el agua. De entre su relación aparecerá el programa y ordenación del proyecto.

[EN] The purpose of this project consist in a complete program of Intergenerational Center is projected in the neighborhood of Torrefiel, located north of the city of Valencia. With the final purpose and the unique opportunity to develop a new program that adds to the current answers in an unbiased, optimistic and prepositive way.

A response to the program is raised, that integrates and offers opportunities for different generations and populations to exchange and coexist with each other, that is why the project contemplates a comprehensive vision based on the concrete and continuous exchange of resources and learning among the diverse generations in order to achieve individual and social benefits.

One of the key points of the project is marked by its location, since it is located on a plot on the northern border between the historic field and the city of Valencia, in addition to the proximity of the Monastery of San Miguel de los Reyes, an important landmark in the city. This location creates great interest in the project, not only for the program, but also for the attachment of transferring the concept of field to the city, a city divided from the field by the Ronda Norte, a road with a large influx of vehicles.

With this background imposed by the place, the project idea is based on creating a physical and conceptual connection between the field and the city. Moving the concept of the historic field of Valencia, which is identified with the project with the segregation of the city through plots and these in turn worked by ridges, the most important element to work and give life to the field. These elements are arranged segregating the noise of the intense traffic of the north round. The ground is cut by interpreting the three tissues of the field: the path, the ridge and the water. From among that relationship will appear the program and ordering of the project.
