dc.description.abstract | [EN] The aim of this thesis is to develop or improve tools and methods for Product Design methodology. An extensive research about Product Design will be completed to understand it and find out which are the short falls and disadvantages that its processes and methods present in its development. Recognised and quality methodologies like Six Sigma and Project Management will be studied and compared to bring its ideas to Product Design lacks. The carried out study of Product Design will show how broad it is and all its impacts in the society. Nowadays, Product Design is everywhere and proper processes should be implemented to achieve good, quality and sustainable designs for the customer satisfaction and society’ benefit. Designers and organisations have to be aware and prepared to approach design problems. For that reason, quality techniques, processes and methods are improved to provide help and guidance to Product Design developers and organisations. The purpose of the project is to improve processes to make them useful for companies and designers without experience. The use of these improvements will provide quality and recognition to the products, services, processes and organisations. People have shown a strong enrolment in the Product Design movement through initiatives, legislation and new techniques. For this reason, quality and recognised methods are required to its implementation,due to its high impact in the society and environment on the current days. | es_ES |
