dc.description.abstract [EN] In this report you will find the exploration of our team in the world of children’s play. Through a design project aimed at children from an existing educational institution (the focus group), we translated the theory of ‘design for children’s play and learning’ into a conceptual game. This game’s intend is to promote open-ended play, encourage self development and bring cultural awareness. These are the three pillars of the design. This report will deliver a tentative concept that has undergone evaluation with the focus group and is still in its early stages of the process. The developed game is called ‘blame it on the game’ and embraces the ‘weirdness’ of children as something that makes a child unique. Expressing yourself however you want should be encouraged. On this note we ended the design cycle (for now) in which the focus was less on the final product and more on the process of how to design for children and the value of play. es_ES
