This virtual lab shows the average carrier-to-interference (C/I) in dB as a function of the logarithm of the number of cells in a cluster for omnidirectional and sectorization of 60º or 120º.

Educational description: The minimum number of cells in a cluster is a design parameter in a cellular networks. Enter the cell type (omnidirectional, sectorizarion 120º, sectorization 60º), threshold carrier-to-interference in dB, the reliability probability in %, the shadowing signal standard deviation in dB, the shadowing cochannel interference standard deviation in dB and the propagation exponent. The virtual lab calculates the minimum number of cells in a cluster.
