dc.description.abstract | [ES] El Instituto de Monumentos Arqueológicos y Monumentales (CNR-IBAM) participo’ en los anos 2005-2009 en un proyecto "El Museo Virtual de Irak", con el ayudo por el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores desarollado con la coordinación científica del Consejo Nacional de Investigación. Este trabajo describe en detalle las peculiaridades del sistema Webgis implementado para la presentación de determinados centros de la antigua Mesopotamia. Desde el procesamiento de imágenes para extraer los datos de los mapas por satélite para la base documental, hasta la creación de la estructura y la interfaz web: un experimento de comunicación en la historia y la arqueología que extiende el concepto clásico de "museo", extiendéndolo también a contextos de descubrimiento y de la relación entre el paisaje histórico y el hombre. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | [EN] In the years 2005-2009, The Institute for Archaeological Monuments and Sites (CNR-IBAM) participated with "The Virtual Museum of Iraq," sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and developed with the scientific coordination of the National Council of Research. This paper describes in detail the peculiarities of the webGIS implemented for the submission of certain centers of ancient Mesopotamia. From image processing to extract the satellite map data for documentary base, until the creation of the structure and web interface: an experiment in communication history and archeology that extends the classical concept of "museum", extending also to contexts of discovery and the link between the historic landscape and man. | es_ES |
