dc.description The data in the excel file are organized in different tabs: - Informe: summary of data contained in the Excel tabs. - Estadística: it contains data from "Informe" tab and the correlation between several variables. Pearson and Spearman test were used. - Presupuesto: library budget of the UPV and mean library budget of Spanish Academic libraries since 2001 to 2012. - BBDD: research outputs obtained in different bibliographic databases (SCOPUS, Web of Science (WOS), Inspec, Scifinder, FSTA, ICYT and CAB). The search terms used are included for each database. - 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012: a sample of research outputs of the UPV for each year (2008-2012). Using the sample, a confidence range was calculated for the number of references with full text in the UPV library. - 2008 NREF, 2009 NREF, 2010 NREF, 2011 NREF, 2012 NREF: a sample of research outputs of the UPV for each year (2008-2012). dc.description.abstract [EN] The data were used to analyse the correlation between some aspects of the library of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and the research outputs of the UPV. There are two kinds of data: on the one hand, data of the library of the UPV that was mainly obtained from the statistical data published annually by REBIUN. On the other hand, data of research outputs of the UPV that were obtained by consulting different bibliographic databases such as SCOPUS. Several variables of each kind of data were selected and a correlation analysis was made between different variables of each group. es_ES
