Abstract

[EN] The present proposal sought through the application of the PDCA cycle, save costs, raise the welfare of staff, reduce defects and achieve an increase in productivity of the company Lurbel, dedicated to the manufacture of socks. A study of the problem was carried out to elaborate the approach and determine the main indicators of the production lines, as a reference to evaluate the impact of the improvement. The improvement proposals and activities developed were related to adequately fulfill the production planning, which translates into timely delivery of orders, higher revenues, and therefore, greater profitability for the company. Likewise, autonomous maintenance activities and a preventive maintenance plan for the weaving machines were designed, which presented the greatest problems, seeking to guarantee their performance. Based on analysis it’s an effective Project and with all the above, the productivity of the Bmax, Regenactive and Basic production lines increased by 3.34%, 10.38% and 4.45% respectively. The annual savings of Bmax socks production lines amounts to 6,922.5, Regenactive socks to 5,226.2 and Basic to 1473.56 making a total of 13,622.26.
