Arrels: parque intergeneracional en la Ronda Norte

Abstract

[ES] El presente proyecto pretende ofrecer una solución paisajística y arquitectónica alternativa al borde urbano ubicado entre distrito de Rascaña y la pedanía de Poble Nou, pertenecientes a la ciudad de Valencia, cuyo limite está conformado hoy en día por la Ronda Norte que segrega la ciudad y la huerta en dos paisajes diferentes. Se propone que la solución responda a la necesidad de conectar la huerta y la ciudad a la vez que resolver las necesidades dotacionales demandadas por la ciudadanía en el lugar intervenido. El proyecto pretende utilizar la arquitectura topográfica y el paisaje como gradiente entre la densidad de la ciudad y la planicie de la huerta.

[EN] The objective of this project is to present an alternative architectonic and landscape solution to the urban border located between districts named "Rascaña" and "Poble Nou", in the city of Valencia. At the present moment the border is shaped by the road named "Ronda Norte" that divides the city and the orchard in two diferent landscapes. The research will propose solutions to the disconnect between the city and the orchard, while creating on demand service opportunities for local residents by the needs of project placement. This project aims to use topographic architecture and the landscape like gradient between the density of the city and the plain of the orchard.
