Bodega Les Freses

Abstract

[ES] El proyecto que se plantea es una bodega nacida en lo que un día fue un cultivo de fresas, junto al Parque Natural del Montgó y a escasos kilómetros del mar de Dénia. La parcela cuenta con una ubicación inmejorable abrazada por la montaña y marcada por los bancales descendentes hacia el valle que escalonan el terreno.

Les Freses es un ejemplo de lo que se ha venido a denominar microviña, una forma de elaborar vinos de alta calidad, vinos de autor, rentabilizando el minifundio y regenerando la economía local. Y siempre teniendo como principal baza el cuidado del medio ambiente y la protección de la tradición cultural.

Por ello, se plantea un proyecto totalmente integrado en el entorno y con una base fundamentada en la filosofía de la forma en la que se elabora el vino. El conjunto consta un programa formado por la bodega de elaboración, un pabellón de cata y restaurante de uso externo, doce habitaciones de hotel, una preexistencia que funciona como vivienda-recepción y distintos elementos que configuran el paisaje de la parcela.

[EN] The proposed project is a winery born where years ago were a strawberry crop, next to the Montgo Natural Park and a few kilometres from the Mediterranean sea. The plot has an unbeatable location embraced by the mountain and marked by the descending terraces towards the valley that stagger the terrain.

Les Freses is an example of what is used to be called microviña, a way of producing high quality wines, signature wines, making the minifundio profitable and regenerating the local economy. And always having as its main asset the care of the environment and the protection of cultural tradition.

For this reason, the proposal project is totally integrated into the environment and based on the philosophy of the way in which the wine is made. The whole consists of a programme formed by the wine-making cellar, a tasting pavilion and restaurant for external use, twelve hotel rooms, a preexistence that functions as a house-reception and different elements that make up the landscape of the plot.
