[EN] Throughout this paper, we will study both the design and simulation of a prototype
low power portable solar charger that could be used for batteries of small electronic
devices such as mobiles, laptops, powerbanks, tablets, music players … Making use
of the renewable energy of the sun as the only source of energy, without needing to
depend on the connection to the electricity grid in case you need to recharge these
devices mentioned above.
In order to make the development of this prototype in question possible, it is
necessary to implement the model of a photovoltaic solar module, an MPPT tracker
and as a last stage, and to achieve a constant output voltage, it will be necessary to
have a DC converter -DC that sets an output voltage of 5V, which is the standard USB
charging method. The converter designed will be a voltage reducer from direct
current to direct current, to BUCK.
The software (software) that you will need for the development of the project that
concerns us mainly in two: Matlab-Simulink for the simulation and Mathcad for the
technical calculations and studies prior to it. The use of both programs is developed
throughout the career in the different subjects of Power Electronics or Automatic,
so it will be familiar to its use
