Reorganization in dynamic agent societies

Abstract

[EN] This thesis explores the area of reorganization in agent societies and focuses specifically on a novel approach that provides a decision-making support for adaptation. This approach considers reorganization in multiple organizational dimensions and is aimed at obtaining the adaptation with the highest potential for improvement in utility based on the costs of reorganization. Results shown how our approach accurately predicts the impact of the reorganization and increases the range of adaptation solutions in comparison with one-dimensional solutions. In order to evaluate this proposal, we also contributed a reorganization facilitator service which provides support for the reorganization approach.
