Proyecto de implantación de un camping en la antigua cantera de Castalla

Abstract

[ES] Como propuesta para la mejora de la ciudad de Castalla se pretende regenerar el espacio de la antigua cantera situada en la periferia. Este enclave se encuentra en el límite del Paraje Natural del Maigmó, con una relación visual muy importante con el castillo y con la cercana Sierra de Mariola. Es por ello, que se desea aprovechar este lugar infrautilizado con la implantación de un camping en la plataforma de la cantera y de un centro excursionista a los pies de ella. El objetivo principal del proyecto es la recuperación del lugar mediante la creación de un espacio de alojamiento temporal y de ocio, que se integre en la montaña.

[EN] As a proposal for the improvement of the city of Castalla is intended to regenerate the space of the old quarry located in the periphery. This place is located on the edge of the Natural Site of Maigmó, with a very important visual relationship with the castle and the nearby Mountain chain of Mariola. That is the reason that it should take advantage of this place underutilized with the implantation of a camping site in the platform of the quarry and an excursionist centre at the foot of it. The main of the project is the recovery of the place by creating a temporary lodging and leisure space, which is integrated in the mountain.
