dc.description.abstract [EN] Graphic design is important and necessary in the world nowadays because sight is the main way of information acquisition. Therefore, it is logical to think that vision sciences can help in decision making at the design level. Understanding concepts such as visual acuity, contrast sensitivity among others will contribute to optimizing the readability of text through an optimal selection of typographic parameters for printed and digital formats. In addition, the knowledge about the effect of the different colour vision deficiencies will improve the accessibility of the design. es_ES
