dc.description.abstract | [EN] High accuracy is required for the solution of the lambda modes problem associated with the neutron diffusion equation. In this work, a multigrid method based on finite element method has been proposed to solve this problem. This method combines a hierarchy of meshes with a method based on a modified block Newton method to solve the eigenvalue problem. The Krylov-Schur method is used to compare with this solver. To study the performance of this method in comparison with the standard fine mesh discretization, several benchmark problems are presented. | es_ES |
