[ES] LA ISLA DEL ÚLTIMO SUEÑO

Lectura e interpretación sobre La isla de los muertos.

El trabajo que se muestra a continuación es un estudio detallado de la serie pictórica La isla de los muertos, de Arnold Böcklin, y la elaboración de una serie pictórica propia, compuesta por siete obras, las cuales muestran los lazos de unión con la ya mencionada serie de Böcklin. Este trabajo se divide en dos bloques fundamentales, en el primero, se explicará un análisis de la serie pictórica de Böcklin, empezando por una contextualización del mismo artista. A continuación, se contextualizará la misma serie, La isla de los muertos, dónde se explicará de forma detallada su origen, el motivo que le llevó a elaborar la serie, y los posibles modelos de islas en los que se basó. Seguidamente, se llevará a cabo un análisis retórico en profundidad, donde se analizará el papel que juega cada uno de los elementos que la forman y se comparará con otras versiones antitéticas de islas que elaboró poco tiempo después de la serie La isla de los muertos. Para finalizar el primer bloque, se mostrarán las influencias que ha ejercido dicha serie en las diferentes disciplinas artísticas, como pudiera ser la literatura, la música, el cine, e incluso la arquitectura, aunque se profundizará más en la creación pictórica. En el segundo bloque se muestra el proyecto pictórico, y se explica su proceso, conceptos que comparte con La isla de los muertos, materiales utilizados, técnica y reflexiones dadas por la experimentación. Por último, se mostrarán una serie de fotografías que documentan y muestran los diferentes procesos y cambios que ha ido sufriendo el proyecto.

Reading and interpretation about the island of the dead.

The work shown below is a detailed study of the pictorial series The Island of the Dead, by Arnold Böcklin, and the creation of a pictorial series by myself, consisting of seven works, which show the bonds of union with the aforementioned Böcklin s series. This work is divided into two fundamental blocks, in the first, an analysis of Böcklin's pictorial series is explained, starting with a contextualization of the same artist. Next, the same series, The Island of the Dead, is contextualized, where its origin is specifically explained, the reason that led to the development of the series, and the possible models of islands on which it was based. Next, an in-depth rhetorical analysis will be carried out, where the role played by each of the elements they form will be analyzed and it is compared with other antithetical versions of islands that were developed shortly after the series The Island of the Dead. To finish the first block, it shows the influences that this series has exerted in the different artistic disciplines, such as literature, music, cinema, and even architecture, although it will go deeper into the pictorial creation. In the second block the pictorial project is shown, and its process, the concepts it shares with The Island of the dead, the materials used, the technique and the meditations given by the experimentation, are explained. Finally, a sequence of photographs, that document and show the different processes and changes that the project has undergone, is shown.
