Bajo la piel. Proyecto de novela ilustrada

Abstract

[EN] This document covers the process of creating the first chapter of a Japanese manga-style illustrated novel belonging to the dark fantasy genre. ‘Under the Skin’ tells the story of Momo, a young and apathetic warrior chosen by a divine being to eliminate the corruption of the earth, so that he will venture on a journey under his will, where he will face all kinds of creatures and dangers for the good of the world. The project covers, from the theoretical part, the influence and inspiration of the ‘Arbatel de Magia Veterum’, an esoteric Catholic book that establishes a hierarchy of celestial beings and, from the practical part, the development and creation of a graphic novel from the creation from the idea to the final layout.

[ES] Este documento recoge el proceso de creación del primer capítulo de una novela ilustrada estilo manga japonés perteneciente al género de fantasía oscura. ‘Bajo la piel’ cuenta la historia de Momo, un joven y apático guerrero escogido por un ser divino para eliminar la corrupción de la tierra, de modo que se aventurará en un viaje bajo su voluntad, donde se enfrentará a todo tipo de criaturas y peligros por el bien del mundo. El proyecto abarca, desde la parte teórica, la influencia e inspiración del ‘Arbatel de Magia Veterum’, un libro esotérico católico que establece una jerarquía de seres celestiales y, desde la parte práctica, el desarrollo y creación de una novela gráfica desde la creación de la idea hasta la maquetación final.
