LA RÉPLICA EN EL CONTEXTO DE LA GESTION DEL PATRIMONIO INMUEBLE. TRES CAPILLAS SIXTINAS

[EN] The current technology is the key resource to get physical replicas and virtual recreations of buildings, historical and archaeological sites, and different types of cultural assets. This recreation has now become necessary in order to release and to spread these sites that are often subject to preservation conditions, which make it difficult for widespread visiting, and which can’t be enjoyed, exhibited or exploited as it would be likely to. The use and comparison of the 3D laser scanner results in the documentation of the Panteón de los Reyes allows both to elaborate metric documentations of an extremely accuracy and liability, and the possibility of creating 3D virtual models that get to simulate the real object and, at the same time, asses the economic costs of the process.

[ES] La tecnología actual es el medio clave para conseguir la réplica física y la recreación virtual de edificios, lugares históricos, sitios arqueológicos y bienes de distinta naturaleza. Esta recreación se ha hecho necesaria para dar a conocer y difundir estos espacios que muchas veces están sujetos a condiciones de preservación que hacen incompatible la visita generalizada, y que no pueden disfrutarse, exponerse y explotarse de manera directa. La utilización y comparación de resultados de escáneres láser 3D en la documentación del Panteón de los Reyes permite tanto elaborar documentaciones métricas de una extremada precisión y fiabilidad, como, sobre todo, la posibilidad de generar modelos virtuales 3D que consiguen simular el objeto real a la vez que valoran los costes económicos del proceso.
