AQUÍ TERRITORIO, IDENTIDAD Y SEGREGACIÓN

Abstract

[ES] Este proyecto explora la relación entre espacio e identidad, tomando como escenario el barrio Ciutat Fallera de Valencia. Concibo el espacio como algo relacional entre el lugar y sus habitantes, poniendo el foco en los cuerpos y voces anónimas que la ordenación urbana y social genera. Me interesa la complejidad del tejido social y como la superposición de sus estratos sociales, va conformando la idiosincrasia de sus habitantes y su territorio. Entendiendo territorio como epítome del cambio, reflexionando sobre aquellos elementos que condicionan nuestro crecimiento y dan carácter y forma a nuestra identidad.

[EN] This project explores the relationship between space and identity, taking Valencia's Ciutat Fallera neighborhood as the setting. I conceive the space as something relational between the place and its inhabitants, putting the focus on the Anonymous bodies and voices that urban and social planning generates. I am interested in the complexity of the social fabric and how the superposition of its social strata, is shaping the idiosyncrasy of its inhabitants and its territory. Understanding territory as the epitome of change, reflecting on those elements that condition our growth and give character and form to our identity.
